Editing in the sun...

Ahhh - it doesn't get much better.

I'm in the shade, the mercury is flirting with 23 degrees, there's a slight breeze wafting through the cedar hedge and the wonderful Willow is asleep by my feet.

I've just finished editing pages 382 through 454 of the manuscript and needed a little break before pushing through to the end (another 80 or so pages - heavy editing required).

I am looking forward to finishing this edit.  Two nights ago a new idea for a story leapt, almost fully formed into my head.  I've scribbled down some notes, but I think the idea is a winner and would like to get to work on it.

Well, the sooner I finish tne edit, the sooner I can get to the new stuff...
